Service Who we are We are a professional audio service centre based in the North West of England providing service to all music related products. We deal with everyone from the pub singer to international studios and take care of all equipment from small guitar combos to digital mixing desks; this includes valve and power amplifiers, speakers, keyboards, decks & DJ mixers, lighting controllers and lighting units. We have been repairing equipment for twenty years and have repaired everything from New Orders bass amps to the Chemical Brothers samplers. Authorised service centre We are fully authorised by Allen & Heath, Behringer, Mackie, Tapco and Roland. We are recommended by most UK manufacturers for carrying out non-warranty service on their equipment as we offer free estimates and a speedy turn around on most units, including a while-you-wait service at no extra cost. Why being an authorised service centre is so important Being authorised means that as an independent service centre we have been credited by the manufacturer to meet or surpass their level of service and are trusted to deal with retailers and the public on their behalf and provide a service worthy of their name. How we take care of your equipment We carry a large stock of spare parts to cover most eventualities. If you are curious as to technical know how why not ask as you can watch your own repair, our service centre is not a black hole! Our repairs are usually carried out the same day if parts are in stock; this is for all of our customers, both warranty and non-warranty as we do not want you to be without your units for longer than necessary. Warranty All of our repairs carry a 3 month return to base warranty on work carried out. If we carry out work on behalf of a manufacturer we will honour their warranty. Who we deal with We are equally happy to deal with trade suppliers, retailers and the general public on a personal level and we carry out work on-site where required. Costs We do not charge for estimates, we will quote for most items. Some do require a small charge i.e. a preliminary repair to find out the further extent of damage but we can usually quote for work from the description you give us. At other times it is apparent that all a customer needs is a bit of advice as to the correct operation of their equipment - we will make sure that you have not pressed a solo button in before you haul your desk in to us! We can fix anything! OK, perhaps not, but only for some good reasons. Some things are too old and spares cannot be found. We try to solve this by keeping a graveyard of old or obsolete equipment to strip for that one off special. Failing that, we are in contact with other service centres throughout the world who also keep old spares. Sometimes we may be able to have spares manufactured. Some things are too badly damaged. You would not believe how much damage can be caused by fluids, rust doesn't just happen to cars! An item which has been dropped may have a cracked board, which might cause an intermittent fault. A blown amplifier may have too many damaged components for it to be economical to repair; it's sometimes hard to say until we've had a look at it. We work with many insurance companies to deal with claims ranging from flooded studios to accidental damage and we will always do our best to repair your equipment, but sometimes we simply cannot. |
